WEEK 2 (EVEN THOUGH IT'S NOW WEEK 4)

More great news from Elder Webb the elder (of the two Elders Webb we know):
from 21 August 2014
¡Buenos Jueves!

I feel like I should first put that yesterday, I was so sick I thought I would die, and today I’m back to about 75-80%. Tuesday night going to bed, I was fine, I didn’t have any problems, not even a throat-tickle. Come Wednesday morning, I had a slight cough, but I was still ok. Progressively, I got worse and worse until I couldn’t talk after 6PM, and almost couldn’t walk after about 8PM. I went to bed at about 10PM and started shivering so hard I was almost convulsing. Out loud, or as close as I could muster, I offered a quick and simple prayer. As soon as I finished, I could calm down and control my breathing. I’m so grateful for this experience and this trial of my faith, and I’m so glad that I had the faith to be healed. God can do anything we ask him to do, so long as our desires are righteous.

Also, I can’t send pictures. I don’t know why. I’ll ask around and have some next time.

We’re teaching some more fake investigators (sorry if I can’t spell in english), both of whom are our teachers. Yesterday, we knocked on his fake door, and he wouldn’t let us into his fake house! So we taught a real lesson on his fake porch. It was really weird, especially because the Spirit was still there.

Last week, I had to go to the Mexican Consulate for something about my visa. I passed by APA, Draper, Murray, I boarded Trax and hung out downtown. It was super weird to see the real world again. This place is like Disneyland, SOLELY in the fact that the real world disappears. This is all I’ve ever known.

I’m praying for Bobby, and I’m grateful for the updates.

To my family: I love you guys, and I’m grateful for your love and support.

To my friends who aren’t Joe, Kristen, or Brittany: Write me, dummies!

Love,

Elder Webb

PS, My days are packed, 6AM-10PM cada día. I exercise at 12:30 each day and do different things; volleyball, basketball (though not much of that, because everybody gets injured), weights, running, fútbol, etc. I’ve still got mad volleyball skills.

The food is fine. It’s not always delicious, but my bowels haven´t suffered like Elder Whitlock in my district. Oh my goodness. Our windows are always open.

I have not encountered any Elders older than myself, but I’ve met a couple Hermanas I knew from High School and church who are here and older.
